The Ridge Avenue project is unique in the sense that it is a designed as a “transplant”. The core of the space comprised of the pharmacy counter, display shelving and all related casework was moved from one pharmacy store and incorporated into the new space. The challenge was to masterfully modify and re-craft the existing casework to fit in a much smaller space. Overall, we were able to meet the client’s expectation by providing practical design ideas and solution to integrate an existing core into a gutted remodeled shell. The resulting design is a neighborhood friendly pharmacy space which is ADA compliant, welcoming and functional for both client and customers.
